Why Am I Rank 17 Again Dead by Daylight Reddit

Im rank 15 on killer. Why do i keep getting lobbies full of purple rank (6-8) survivors. Like wtf BHVR.

Horseshit matchmaking and a bandage fix of hiding rank. Theyre trying to kill the game i swear

because no one is playing killer at high ranks right now, so they match low rank killers with high rank survivors to benefit queue times. I recently switched to pc so I'm rank 19 killer, lowest rank i've played against so far is 8

Just totally takes all fun out of the game getting shit on by everyone. Played a ghostface game and got mothers dwelling. 4 gens done before i hooked anyone.

I just got back to playing dbd after 5-6 months break and i started ranking my killer, just got to rank 13 and first game was against 3x rank 5's and one rank 3.. and my girlfriend has it even worse, she literally just started playing dbd and she is rank 17 and got matched against a team that was 3x red ranks and one purple rank and got literally just bullied the whole game..

I have this problem all the time. I took a 5-6 month break. I come back and got to tank 12 and so far evry single game I got has been red ranks I actually hope to see a purple rank it's so bad. I keep getting gen rushed and it's even worse when I do a daily on a killer I have no perks on and get fucked. I can for the most part compete with these red ranks but I want to get better at the game with my own ranks. It feels really unfair. And I'm pissed because the pyramid Head chapter will make survivors jump windows faster. This game feels unbalanced and survivors are to op especially when it's swf group that get 5 gens in 2 minutes.

My wide are in a similar position, shes not really a gamer at all and even though she plays survivor keeps getting screwed by matchmaking

If you believe that you have no understanding of anything. The devs are literally just trash and have no clue how to build and maintain a game. They "adjusted" the rank reset which all it did was make it harder at low ranks 10-20 to find games agains survivors of your rank, I started playing as a rank 10 killer after rank reset and didn't get a single game without 2 red ranks atleast. It's not the game being "survivor sided" that's an excuse killers use that are mad they can't sweep games like before.so it's either you deal with ungodly long queue times to find another set of 4 rank 13-18 survivors or you deal with whatever available group of survivors their are closest to your rank

It's not let's be real its because ranking is messed up right now. Too many survivors at high ranks and too many killers at low ranks. I'm getting so many shit swf consisting of one red rank and 3 green ranks at rank 1 killer

As i had understood it, clearly incorrect of course, there was supposed to be a hard cap of rank ranges for matchmaking..

the paramaters start off as being a max of 4 ranks in either direction, but they expand as the queue time increases

If either killer or survivors wait in queue long enough all bets are off as I understand it and survivor queues have completely skyrocketed.

to an extent. When rank 20 killers are playing against rank 4's, rank matters. When rank 8's are playing with rank 4's it doesn't really matter.
